We were picked up very early this morning and barely got in any breakfast before heading to our boat tour. This makes for a cranky Andy but once we were done waiting to board the boats and snorkeling amongst the reefs we were both happier campers. The Ang Thong National Park is an archipelago of 42 islands that look like the cover of any Thailand travel book you've seen. The Emerald Lake is the main tourist spot and that it was. It was jam packed with far too many people and the climb to the top on the steep stairs was rewarded with an only more crowded spot up top. The view was beautiful but the pushy tourists took away from the moment and also led us to choose not to hike around. We had lunch in a small remote fisherman's where I had to buy a shell from the cutest kid entrepreneurs. We ended the day on a beach that was only accessible by boat and got in some swimming and kayaking.
We came back and walked the beach the find some beers and dinner. Tomorrow we have nothing on the agenda until dinner and we're pretty excited to hang by our pool. We took most of our photos on the GoPro today and I haven't gone through it all yet so there will be more later.
