Today was spent lounging by the pool, drinking by the pool, walking down the beach to lunch, buying a fun floaty for the pool and happy hour on the beach.
We went to a group dinner that was rated #1 on Trip Advisor-anything that does not have travelers giving it lower than a 4 was worth checking out. The guy who runs it is British and his university friend opened a similar concept in Buenos Aires first called the Argentine Experience. After much success they searched out their next location and chose Thailand to open up their next venture, the Thai Experience. Essentially it gets together 15-20 strangers at a large dinner table and has them learn how mix cocktails, about Thai cuisine & culture while the unlimited drinks continue to flow. We sat next to two other British couples who were also both on their honeymoon and all teachers! The rest of the table consisted of a group of young Italian guys, a family and a couple from Chappaqua. I was continually surprised throughout our trip at the lack of Americans we encountered, probably less than 5% of the people we met/saw. But once we found some they usually stuck out by their unruly children or obnoxiously loud voices (sometimes we really are embarrassing).
Starting the day by Facetiming with mom and seeing Hudson was an added treat!
