There are some movies that no matter how many times you see them, you still need to watch them every single holiday season.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation: With countless classic one-liners, this movie is a family favorite. For anyone on your list who loves it as much as we do: moose mugs, Clark shirt or a snow globe with my dad's favorite line from the movie.
The Santa Clause: Tim Allen brings the North Pole and the spirit of Santa to life in this 90s classic. Who else wanted that hot cocoa machine?! The sequels are also fun but the first is by far my favorite.
Elf: This movie was one of Will Ferrel's early movies after SNL and later gained a cult holiday following and more memes than you could count.
Love Actually: With all of the overlapping storylines of love and Christmas, which one is your favorite?
The Holiday: When is the sequel coming out? Every time I watch this one, the ending leaves me needing a continuation of the storyline. Nancy Meyers movies easily top my feel good favorites list and if you always want to move into every home in each one, you're not alone!
A Christmas Story: This movie used to be on repeat for 24 hours on Christmas Day on TBS. My brother and I used to get up so much earlier than everyone else on Christmas morning we would get in at least one or two viewings of this every year. Another movie that inspired coordinating gifts: leg lamp & shirt.
Don't have the DVDs on hand? All of the movies are available for streaming through Amazon video, some for free, some for a rental fee.
